About Zurich Sunglasses

I am Bruce Holden, CEO of Zurich USA. I welcome you to take a moment to understand the company behind the products.

Not only am I an optician of 27 years, but all five of my brothers were opticians at one time. Naturally, we were all very concerned about proper eye protection.

In 1985, no one or no company made sports sunglasses based on protection. Virtually all sunglasses are made with the primary focus of being fashionable.

Most fashion styles are nice, but they do not protect serious sports enthusiasts in tough conditions from sun, glare, and flying debris. As a skier and a sports enthusiast, I wanted to produce a true sports sunglass that was not only durable, but would protect the wearer better in all conditions.

We designed the Zurich sunglasses to provide more than 29 features and benefits. Using our combined optical experience of many years, we incorporated everything that was needed for a great pair of protective sunglasses for active sports people.
